During a special called meeting Thursday, the Weatherford College Board of Trustees met in a closed session to discuss personnel matters and to consider candidates for the appointment of an interim president. No action was taken on either item.
In an action, the trustees designated Dr. Don Tomas, WC senior vice president of instruction and student affairs, as a signatory for College bank accounts.

Weatherford College rodeo athletes Jake Cobb, Clif Cooper and George Rowland have returned from the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming.
Cobb, along with Eastern New Mexico’s Kyle Roberts, finished in 11th place in the team roping competition. The pair had the best time of the second-go , 5.3 seconds, and a strong 6.8 in the second go. But a “no score” on the final round knocked them out of the top ten.
George Rowland finished 26th in tie-down roping and Clif Cooper finished 31st.
